Visitor Identification
For each visitor to my website, the web server automatically recognizes the consumer’s domain name. We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information (such as items that consumers add to their shopping basket), record past activity at the site in order to provide better service when visitors return to the site, and to customize (when appropriate) web page content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitors sends.
Your Privacy Comes First
This information is used for internal review only and is then discarded. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. Additional information given directly by the visitor (e-mail address, name, mailing address) is discussed below.
Security:
The Mirthburdz Store uses the highest industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. You can feel safe ordering on-line with mirthburdz.com. Any page on our site that handles sensitive information, such as your credit card number, is securely encrypted using the Secure Sockets layer (SSL) protocol.
E-mail Addresses
The following are policies we have established for the collection and use of e-mail addresses. Mirthburdz.com is aware of consumer’s concern over unauthorized use of their e-mail address (spamming) and will do every possible to protect the privacy of our visitors without hindering the services we provide to them.
1. When we collect an email address of an individual placing an online order will send them further promotional e-mails unless they opt-out when asked for permission to contact them again. They will have this option at the time their order is placed.
3. When we collect an e-mail address of an individual filling out a form to contact us we will ask them to opt-in to receive promotional e-mails from us in the future. An individual will not be required to opt-in in order to have their questions answered by us.
6. When registering in the mirthburdz store, we will send them future promotional e-mails from us unless they opt-out when we ask for permission to contact them again. They will have this option at the time they register with us.
7. Every promotional e-mail we send will contain an option for the recipient to opt-out, and not receive any future promotional e-mails.
10. We will not rent or exchange our e-mail addresses. From time-to-time we will send out endorsed e-mails to our lists promoting partners who have paid us for the endorsement. We will screen all endorsements and only feature those whom we feel would be of interest to our lists.
12. No opt-in (or opt-out) permission will be assumed to be required for sending e-mails to answer questions that have been e-mailed to us, to deliver order status (or other pertinent order information) or to fulfill requests that have been made to us via an e-mail.
Mailing Addresses
We will not rent or exchange our mailing addresses.
Changes in Policies
From time to time we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt-out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.
